Our firm has a heart for small businesses so we came up with an affordable plan to help small businesses owners get the advice and guidance they need to take their businesses to the next level.
A business coach helps entrepreneurs and business owners improve performance and achieve goals by offering guidance, support, and actionable strategies. They assist with identifying challenges, setting objectives, and developing plans for growth, providing accountability and feedback to drive both personal and business success.
49.4% of all businesses fail within the first 5 years. Small businesses need business coaches to provide expert guidance, help owners navigate challenges and make informed decisions. Coaches offer fresh perspectives and help businesses identify growth opportunities, improve leadership skills, and create effective strategies. They also provide accountability, ensuring owners stay focused on their goals and make consistent progress. For small businesses with limited resources and experience, a business coach can be a critical support in avoiding costly mistakes, improving efficiency, and scaling the business for long-term success.
The cost of a typical business coach can vary widely depending on their experience, expertise, and location. On average, business coaches charge anywhere from $100 to $500 per hour, with some niche coaches charging upwards of $1,000 per hour or more. Some offer packages or monthly rates, which can range from $1,000 to $10,000, depending on the scope of services. Group coaching or online coaching programs may be more affordable options, typically costing less than one-on-one sessions.

In Monica's spare time, she loves running, fly fishing, hiking and spending time with her family.
Laura worked with a medical manufacturing company in NY who was struggling with profit margins over 10% below industry average and a toxic culture that resulted in a lot of unnecessary employee turnover.
A toxic workplace results in reduced production and costly
employee turnover. Hiring and training is expensive. It takes time to change culture, but it is well worth the effort. When Laura started working with the company, they averaged 4 employees leaving monthly, out of roughly 75, per month. For a mid-size business, that adds a lot of expense for hiring and training per month. Through implementing job descriptions, review guidelines,
manager training and production tracking with goals, among other things, this turnover was reduced to an average of 3 employees per year.
Another big drain on the company’s bottom line was the lack of inventory controls and workflow practices. Having too much inventory (worth money) sitting on a shelf for months or running out of needed products, both
cost a company money. When one person’s job is dependent on a previous step being completed, workflow processes are a critical component to keep production
going. By implementing inventory controls with re-order amounts, documenting and tracking workflow processes, we were able to keep employees busy and ensure
they always had the materials they needed.
The result of all the changes was profit margins were increased to within 2% of the industry average. That was tremendous progress that took a business barely making a profit, leaving it always at risk of failing, to a profitable business that was able to do more for its employees, communities and finally provide the owners with a return on their investment.
"Would Highly Recommend"
"BHB LLC was a startup when I started working with Laura and Monica. When we began putting a team together, we wanted to keep business local but felt like there was a gap in the local marketplace for our niche market. We were introduced to Monica and Laura. I had done enough homework to know that we had found our financial team. Two years and many challenges later, I would highly recommend them." - Ed Reilly - CFO
